The choirs include the Oregon Repertory Singers and five youth choirs: ORS Vivo Choir, ORS Brioso Choir, ORS Poco Choir, ORS Primo Choir, and the ORS Lyric Singers.
The Oregon Repertory Singers group features an 80 member professional-caliber adult choir which presents repertoire both rare and recognizable, encompassing a multitude of eras, languages, and musical styles. They are committed to presenting inspiring performances like this concert called, The Glory of Christmas.

Members enjoy the fellowship of fellow musicians.

Founded in 1974, the Oregon Repertory Singers celebrate a long history of choral music performance.

St. Mary's Cathedral welcomed the musicians.

Fans take in the beautiful music.

Jed Shay is the Executive Director of the ORS.

The next concert and fundraiser is called, The Oregon Repertory Singers in Paris Sing Les Miserables. It will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Governor Hotel in downtown Portland. The concert is the organization’s only fund raising activity of the year. Money raised will support concert programming and the Oregon Repertory Singers youth choir music education program.Visit www.ORSingers.org for more details.
From the Oregon Repertory Singers:
The ORS youth choir music education program is unmatched in the region for children aged 5 to 18. We know that children who experience music education and performance benefit academically and socially. The academically challenging program teaches students to sing what they read and write what they hear. The five youth choirs perform several fun and engaging concerts throughout the year.About the ORS Youth Choir program: No child interested in participating in the program is turned away because of their family’s inability to pay tuition. ORS youth choir members study musicianship based on the Kodaly method. We are the only youth choral program using this comprehensive and respected technique.Oregon Repertory Singers began in 1974; it is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.
