Oregon Food Bank Benefits from Birthdays

Portland, March 13th. It’s a trend solidifying in Portland’s philanthropic circles: asking for donations for your favorite charity in lieu of gifts. That’s what Judi Inglis requested from girlfriends who gathered in the Pearl District to help her mark a milestone. They contributed nearly $2,000 to the Oregon Food Bank. Since 1982, Oregon Food Bank has been leading the fight against hunger in Oregon and southwest Washington by collecting and distributing food through a network of four OFB branches and 16 independent regional food banks.
