With 75 guests in attendance who enjoyed a four course Mexican meal served family style by Cha Taquería, it was an intimate evening . Guests also placed bids on Day of the Dead themed silent auction items that included artwork by Gene Flores and Susana Espino, both local Latino artists, and a variety of items from artisans in Mexico. The evening was sponsored by Westrey Wine, Casa Bruno, and Cha Taquería.

“¡Que Vivan!” May they live! Is how Miracle Theatre Group’s Artistic Director, Olga Sanchez, invited guests to remember their loved ones passed. In her benediction to kick off the dinner, she explained that Day of the Dead is a time to celebrate the lives of our late loved ones, and in doing so, they will live on.
