Portland, December 4th, 2013. Over 80 Wild Salmon Center(WSC) supporters gathered for a special luncheon with Governor John Kitzhaber at the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center. The Governor and WSC President Guido Rahr recognized regional champions for wild salmon and discussed future conservation opportunities in Oregon’s coastal watersheds. It was a chance for activists like Diane Hall, Executive Director at the The Bill Healy Foundation; Reegan Rae; Valerie Wilson, Scholarship Specialist at The Bill Healy Foundation to network.
