Portland, September 26th, 2014. With the generosity and support from more than 150 people, Playworks raised more than $65,000 at this year’s Keep Portland Playful fundraiser! Guests dined and mingled inside Key Bank Club, played 4-square and tetherball on the patio, and took selfies with Timber Joey with the Timbers/Thorns pitch backdrop. Proceeds from Keep Portland Playful will be channeled to Playworks efforts to prevent bullying, boost physical activity, and foster positive school climates. Playworks Pacific Northwest will partner with 100 schools serving 40,000 kids through training and daily direct service. (Photo credit, Molly Morandit)
