It was a magical night for staff, donors and friends of Housecall Providers who understand firsthand the vision and dedication necessary to build Housecall Providers into the premiere NW medical nonprofit practice it is today. Benneth was welcomed to the podium with a standing ovation before delivering her heartwarming address where she thanked all in attendance for their support and guidance throughout the years.

U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) surprised the 200+ attendees at the Multnomah Athletic Club with a personalized video message thanking Benneth for her “vision, courage and tenacity” as well as sharing his hope that she would continue on as an advocate for home-based medicine. Another of the evening’s surprises was Housecall Providers Volunteer Coordinator Todd Lawrence’s performance of a song that was written especially for Benneth and the occasion.

To cap off the evening, the Dr. Benneth Husted Legacy Fund was launched and raised over $30,000 to support, train and retain the future clinicians of Housecall Providers.
