Human Solutions’ Auction Raises More Than $80,000 for Homeless Families

Portland, April 11th, 2015. Human Solutions’ auction and gala raised more than $80,000 for the agency’s programs and services for low-income and homeless individuals and families. About 230 guests attended the event at the Melody Ballroom in Portland. This year’s kite-filled theme was “Soar With Us.” The event featured silent and live auctions, a buffet dinner, and dancing to live East Coast jazz, swing and pop by Portland’s Shanghai Woolies. Guests had a great time bidding for auction items via their smart phones.

Guests at the Human Solutions auction included Terry Wilson, Director of Affordable Housing, and Rich Miller, President/Owner of Affinity Property Management.

The Melody Ballroom was the site of this year’s “Soar With Us” auction.
