Portland, December 3rd, 2015. Pacific University recognized its most generous donors during the university’s annual Celebration of Giving banquet at the RiverPlace Hotel in Portland. President Lesley Hallick thanked philanthropic members of the university’s Trombley Society, President’s Circle, 1849 Society and the Heart of Oak Society, whose contributions provide scholarships and other resources for Pacific students. Additionally, the newest members of the President’s Circle, those who have given at least $100,000 over their lifetimes to Pacific, were honored, including alumnus and current trustee Doug Weberling ’72, OD ’74; trustee emeritus and former Lasco Shipping president Kenneth Lewis and wife Colleen, the Stanich Family, and posthumously, longtime Forest Grove resident Sally Ann Brown.
