Congregation Beth Israel’s 5th annual “Taste of Temple” Raises $45,000

Portland, January 31st, 2016. It was a sellout crowd at Congregation Beth Israel’s 5th annual “Taste of Temple” friendraiser and fundraiser. On hand for the event were Bianca Urdes, Cantor Ida Rae Cahana, Rabbi Michael Z. Cahana, Rabbi Rachel L. Joseph, and Tony Urdes. This annual event supports programs and services provided by the largest Reform congregation in Oregon, while encouraging attendees to support the gracious local chefs, vintners, brewers and distillers who are featured each year. The event netted over $45,000 for the 157 year old congregation. (Photo credit, Andie Petkus)
