Sold-Out Grimm Gala Raises $386,000 for OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital

Portland, February 13, 2016. The cast of Grimm joined Doernbecher Children’s Hospital supporters at the Exchange Ballroom for the Grimm Gala. Cast members on hand included: Russell Hornsby, Silas Mitchell, Bitsie Tullock, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, David Giuntoli, Reggie Lee and Claire Coffee.

The gala raised $386,000 and proceeds will fund the Grimmster Endowment at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation. After members of the Grimm cast visited patients at Doernbecher, they were inspired to establish the Grimmster Endowment, an endowed fund to help provide patients and families critical support associated with uncompensated care, travel, lodging and other services integral to the care and comfort of the most vulnerable patients.

From Dorernbecher:

Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the 50 best children’s hospitals in the nation, Doernbecher sees patients from all over the state of Oregon and beyond. Each year, we treat more than 66,000 patients, half of whom are under-insured. It is because of the commitment and generosity of our community that we are able to care for the children who need us the most.
