Community Action Gala Shows Spirit

Portland, April 28th, 2016. Over 300 supporters gathered to celebrate Community Action’s mission at the Community Spirit Gala presented by Tuality Healthcare. The nonprofit raised $201,115 to further its mission to eliminate poverty and create opportunities for people and communities. Community Action Executive Director Renée Bruce, Premier Community Bank Chief Credit Officer Fred Johnson, and Community Action Board Chair Richard Odell posed for  photo. Premier Community Bank was recognized for its contributions to both Community Action and Washington County with the Community Spirit Award. Guests at the NW Events & Environments space were inspired by courageous story of change shared by Elizabeth Ebert, a former client who is now a vital Community Action staff member.
