Portland, September 22nd. It was a "Hip Hip Hooray" for The Salvation Army's annual dinner…
Portland, Or. For 22 years, the “All About Kids” annual dinner has raised awareness and financial resources for local kids. Each year the challenge is greater. On May 10th, 390 community members rose to the challenge as Major Nancy Dihle, Lindsey Martinez, Tony Martinez, and Paul Migchelbrink helped lead the charge. The Salvation Army’s 22nd Annual benefit raised $225,000 — and still counting. The Dinner also drew the greatest number of people in its history as well as the greatest number of new guests and donors. (photo credit, Andie Petkus)
All About Kids was also a time to recognize local individuals and organizations who are affecting change with youth through their involvement with The Salvation Army. The following people were recognized with annual Awards:
Leveryll Wilson – Hoffman Partner in Excellence Award
Weston Buick GMC – Fred Meyer Founders Award
Bridgetown Jesus Church – Atiyeh Legacy Award
