Human Solutions “Soar With Us” Raises Over $105,000

Portland, OR. Local drag legend Poison Waters served as Mistress of Ceremonies and kept the laughs coming for the more than 200 guests at Human Solutions’ “Soar With Us” Auction and Gala on April 8th. Human Solutions works to alleviate homelessness and poverty. Waters entertained guests, including those from sponsor HFO Investment Real Estate: Breckinridge Lanning, Michael Razavi, Miguel Cobian, and Aaron Douglas. Guests bid on silent auction items and enjoyed signature cocktails before dinner and a live auction. Guests at the Human Solutions auction included Gordon Gannicott, Ann Sola, Rob Sola, Human Solutions Executive Director Andy Miller, Mitch Rofsky, Linda Holy, Bob Durston.

Guests had the chance to play good old-fashioned games like Jenga and Connect Four at the auction.

Client speaker Ellie Hayes posed with Poison Waters. Ellie was homeless and lived on the Springwater Corridor for 10 years until she found stable housing through Human Solutions. She now works as the family engagement specialist at the Human Solutions Family Center, which operates a 24/7 emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness.

Guests get ready for the live auction at the Melody Ballroom.
