Singers Ready to Serenade Fans at 10 Free Summer Concerts Outside Schnitzer Concert Hall

Portland, OR. Mark your calendar, because the Portland’5 Centers for the Arts is gearing up for the 12th Annual “Music on Main” outdoor concert series. Each Wednesday evening from July 5th to September 6th, music lovers can see a free concert in downtown Portland on Main Street, between Southwest Broadway & Park Avenue, next to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Previous concerts have included popular local and regional groups, like Morning Ritual.

The 2017 series features Hawaiian hot jazz, second line, country swing, Talking Heads tribute, Latin/salsa, R&B, and funk. The free concerts are open to the public and run from 5pm to 7pm – tickets are not required. Co-sponsor, the ArtBar & Bistro, will be serving seasonal fare and libations starting at 4:00pm. Tables are reserved for food and beverage patrons and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Swan Sovereign has also performed at Music on Main Street.

*Performers subject to change. In case of rain or extreme heat, Music on Main concerts will be held in the rotunda lobby of Antoinette Hatfield Hall, located next to Main Street at 1111 SW Broadway Ave., Portland, Oregon 97205.
