#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. #GivingTuesday also created a directory to help you find organizations, charities, events and more in your own community.
This November 27th, join the movement and give. It’s a simple idea. Whether you come together with your family, your community, your company or your organization, find a way to give back.
I was surprised to find that my most beloved nonprofit, KairosPDX, was not listed here.
I found them online (many links received toda!y) & was able to make a donation but would’ve expected them to be listed in any & all articles like this ~ so other philanthropic readers can learn about their awesomeness. ??
Thank you for pointing that omission out to us. We’ve just added http://kairospdx.org/ to the list under Human Services.
Thanks again,
Elisa Klein, Editor
