Trail Blazers Join Students for Visit to Portland Art Museum

Portland, OR. Portland Trail Blazer players C.J. McCollum, Evan Turner and Festus Ezeli joined high school students from Roosevelt and Parkrose high schools for a tour of Constructing Identity: a Collection of African-American Art at the Portland Art Museum. The exhibit opened just in time for Black History Month and runs through June 18th. Museum director Brian Ferriso said this is a major exhibition for the museum. “It really reflects the African American experience and the history of African American art over the past 80 or 90 years. Bruce Ely / Trail Blazers

“This museum is really about educating our youth, inspiring our youth to see the world and see the human experience in a new and exciting way,” said Museum Director, Brian Ferriso.

Evan Turner and Festus Ezeli were there for the tour.
